STORY BY DONNIE BRADLEY, FNN REPORTER, BLOW PIERCE BUREAU.
February 27, 2013. Lebron James inspired me to do what I wanted to do for a long time, and that is to play basketball. Everybody kept saying I was some trash so I caved in and I stopped playing. I gave up because I thought the NBA would be irritating. So I got lazy and fell off. I am not doing that anymore. I will not let anybody stop me from accomplishing my goals. So now I am getting myself back in shape to play basketball, and be like Lebron James, the best player to date with two consecutive league mvps.
The NBA living legend Lebron James was born on December 30,1984 in Akron Ohio. His mother Gloria Marie James was 16 when she had him. Growing up for James was a struggle because his mom was a single mom. It was tough for Lebron James to make friends so he played sports and made bonds with friends and coaches. The friendships he gained helped him get into the NBA.
Lebron James’s nickname was “King James” when he entered the NBA in 2003. He played with Cleveland Cavaliers at the start of his career, and is now with the Miami Heat. He also hosted the Espy Awards and Saturday Night Live. In 2012, he and his team became NBA champions. Lebron James has been named an NBA all star of the year.
I made a bet with my family, when we watched the Heat game because they are Lakers fans (you know it). The Miami Heat won and Lebron James was named the most valuable player. Once when we watched a Lakers game, it was so boring that my family switched and became Lebron James fans. He is one of the top 50 NBA players of all time. Lebron James is great. Some people hate on Lebron and say, “I am better than him,” but it doesn't matter because who’s in the NBA?
This picture shows Lebron James as Sports Illustrated magazine's man of the year. And to this very day, “King James” has been a good 28-year-old player. He is also 6’8” and his salary is 19.7 million. He also has two kids named Lebron James Jr. and Bryce Maximum. His lovely wife is named Savannah Brinson. Lebron James is my motivator and he encourages me to play to the best of my ability.
