Obama and the Dream of Equality: MLK’s Legacy and American Politics

James Earl Ray tried to kill King’s Dream, but it didn’t work. The dream for equality may have slowed down, but it eventually resurfaced years later with a new vision. Now, forty years later, one of the front-runners for president is Barack Obama, a black man. Obama is living King’s dream of equality as the first serious black presidential candidate. Now the dreams of the deceased man have been revived... stronger than ever. The real question is... Will Obama became a target like King and his dream? Will someone attempt to kill or get rid of him?
